I am so excited to have finished this project. When I saw the fabric online, I knew that it reminded me of my grandmother and I knew that she would love the fabric.

I decided to do a log cabin quilt. I figured that it would display the fabric well. I have never done a log cabin quilt before and always wanted to try it. Like anything else that I try, I could not just do a simple log cabin block. I wanted to really use the colors of the fabric and create a beautiful design. I began to plan out the quilt so that I could order the right amount of fabric. I have learned that if you do not get all you want at once, then if you run short, you may have a hard time finding extra fabric.

I finished this quilt on December 10th, 2019. Just in time to send it as a Christmas present.
