Hoping to finish this one before it gets cold!
Now that we are in Oregon, the seasons will change and it will finally get cold. Unlike that of our Ventura, CA weather where it always felt like a constant 75 degrees.
It is going to be nice to see the seasons change.
Abigail is going to need some good blankets and quilts.
We have gone to Ikea and she loves getting on the beds. She loves the Beautiful comforters that they have.
For my birthday I got a new Jelly Roll that I am so excited about using.
It is called “Grow” by “Me & My Sister Designs”. I believe Moda fabrics puts this one out.
A few years ago I managed to acquire a book by PAM AND NICKY LINTOTT. It is called “JELLY ROLL DREAMS-12 NEW DESIGNS FOR JELLY ROLL QUILTS”. I have loved looking through this book and I have finally decided that I am going to try one of the designs in that book, “SENSE OF DIRECTION”.
I am excited to try this one out and see if I can finish it with out getting too frustrated. I have chosen to use Pink sashing and the binding will be blue.
I have not yet decided on a backing fabric or if I am even going to quilt it myself. I may decide to have the Missouri Star Quilt Company do that part for me.
I have started the design process of this quilt. I have laid out all of the fabric strips and have decided that I want the colors to have a flow to them. I think this is the best look.
